Fiona can put her hair in a ponytail.
Rowan likes tea: Peppermint, with sugar, milk, and an ice cube.
Fiona is finally getting some teeth. Top left and bottom right-of-center are finally peeking through. Note that she lost those teeth over the summer so she has been waiting for the adult counterparts for a very long time. Still missing top right and bottom left-of-center.
Rowan discovered the app Stack the States and now he knows a little about all of the 50 states --- primarily where they are in relation to one another on a map.
Fiona is sleepover-obsessed. She likes them on Fridays because she doesn't like to wake up from a sleepover on a Sunday because that means the next day is back to school. That's some deep thinking.
On the last day of our long-weekend Feb break (a Tuesday), the kids and I trekked 10,000 steps through New York before meeting up with Deedee, who was in the city for a town council-related conference, for dinner. That was a pretty huge milestone: we walked the whole day without a stroller and without a meltdown. Makes me optimistic for our upcoming day trip to Disney (shh! It's a surprise).
