Contrary to the huge warning on the side of the Bumbo, Brian had the brilliant idea that we should put Rowan up on the dining room table when we're all together eating dinner. It's great because Rowan is happy to preside over the family at eye level, and Brian and I get to enjoy the use of both hands at mealtime. In this photo, Rowan is on the floor, but that was before our fabulous discovery. I'm sure I don't need to mention that we only put him in there and on the table while supervised. But. I'm mentioning it.
Where would we be without hand-me-downs? Our children would dress in pillowcases and Brian's old band t-shirts.
