Rowan opted for a traditional Charlie Brown-type ghost, so we raided the linen closet and, a few snips later, his costume was complete. It was a little challenging to trick-or-treat in, in our dark town with the lumpy sidewalks, but he did very well.
Another great Halloween on the books. We gave the kids an October 15 deadline to decide on their costumes so as to avoid the 11th hour panic (like last year). Fiona decided on Bloody Mary, a pretty terrifying lady who comes to kill you if you say her name in a mirror three times. Surprisingly, a quick search on Amazon led us to a great, reasonably priced pre-fab costume. (She also considered a The Greatest Showmen-inspired ringmaster costume, but that was twice the price.)
