The power came on last night at around 6 o'clock, as the snow was coming down pretty hard. We went from Indian summer to blackout to nor'easter in a matter of two weeks. Pretty unreal. But we were fairly well prepared and have great neighbors and everything's up and running again. And those 4(?) inches of snow are melting as I type. We are very lucky.
Rowan slept 11 consecutive hours last night, 9pm--8am. I am the best rested mother of an infant, probably in the universe. His day sleep is wonky, but I am not complaining, I swear. He is generally happy so long as you give him eye contact or a boob. He's talking up a storm and at 12 weeks fitting very comfortably into his 6 months clothes. Eyes are still blue, hair is still a faux-hawk. Getting cuter and cuter by the day.
