Rowan is not particularly interested in rolling. He will almost completely roll from back to front in search of something to suck on when he's having trouble falling asleep, but he hasn't done the front to back maneuver unassisted since that one time months ago when I left the room. He does enjoy doing baby crunches, like Fiona used to do -- lifting his head high off the ground while on his back.
He continues to enjoy pushing down with his feet and the jumparoo has become his passion -- I raised it one level the other day so his feet just barely touch the ground, and now when he jumps it looks a little like walking on the moon.
His hand-eye coordination improves daily; he's always grabbing for whatever is within arm's reach, and he's getting faster at it, making eating or drinking near him trickier than ever. He sits up pretty well, though inevitably he slides to the side or forward, the weight of his head carrying him down. And his tongue is always out. Always. Always at the ready to taste the world.
